Ruth, Naomi, and the Lesbian Continuum

Yesterday, I got to learn about Shelby Lewis's research project.  She has done research on the Lesbian Continuum in The Bible.  One of her main focuses was on the story of Ruth in Naomi. Her argument for this story is that, based on some of the language used, it is possible that Naomi and Ruth could have been a romantic couple.  This was a very interesting presentation and I was impressed with Shelby's research and her passion for the subject.
