Hi all.
A couple things on the the horizon that you can attend for participation. All you need to do is write a brief (paragraph long) statement about the event and its relation to class in order to get participation points.
April 18, 4pm: Robert F. Darden, 'Black Sacred Music and the American Civil Rights Movement.' in LaRose.
April 21, 6pm: Kelly Brown Douglas, "Stand your ground and the justice of God." McBride Gathering Room, Numen Lumen Pavilion.
SURF Day--April 26
9-10:30 am. Faculty Poster Session, Great Hall in Global. Come find my poster and ask me what it has to do with Christianity.
4-5:30 pm. Student Poster Session, Great Hall in Global. Find the poster of Shelby Lewis and have her tell you about her research.
12:40-2:20. Student session on Religion and Culture. Global 103
